Betadine First Aid Antiseptic Spray features convenient no-touch application of the trusted antiseptic that promptly kills germs that can cause infection. Use Betadine Antiseptic for the treatment of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Betadine works on a wide range of germs that can cause infections. Betadine contains the active ingredient povidone-iodine (PVP-I), to help prevent skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns. Betadine products are different - they do not contain alcohol or peroxide, and have a no-sting promise.

Directions

Treat your minor cuts, scrapes and burns with Betadine in 3 simple steps:

1. Gently clean the affected area and let dry.
2. Spray a small amount of product on the area 1 to 3 times daily.
3. Cover with a sterile bandage if needed.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: povidone-iodine 5% - 0.5% available iodine (first aid antiseptic).

Inactive Ingredients: citric acid, dibasic sodium phosphate, glycerin, nonoxynol-9, purified water.

Warnings

• For external use only.
• Do not use in the eyes or over large areas of the body.
• Do not use if you are allergic to povidone-iodine or any other ingredients in this preparation.
• Ask a doctor before use if you have deep or puncture wounds, serious burns, animal bites.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if the condition persists or gets worse or you need to use this product for more than 1 week.
• Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
