Product Summary

Cetraben Emollient Cream is a moisturising cream that helps soften and protect dry skin. Its unique blend of emollients locks in moisture to soothe and rehydrate your skin.

This cream is ideal for the relief of localised skin problems such as red, inflamed, dry, or chapped skin, especially when associated with eczema or dermatitis.

Key Features

  • Cetraben special blend of ingredients helps people manage dry and eczema-prone skin.
  • Cetraben Cream helps to relieve discomfort, reduces the itch and the need to scratch it.
  • Soothes, moisturizes, hydrates and protects the skin.
  • Absorbs easily.
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Suitable for adults and children over 1 year.

Key active properties and active ingredients:

  • Light liquid paraffin helps replace lost skin oils.
  • White soft paraffin forms a protective barrier on the skin surface and locks in moisture.
  • Glycerin brings moisture up from deep down in the skin.

As well as being a moisturiser, Cetraben Cream can also be used as a soap substitute to wash and moisturise sensitive skin.

Directions for use

For external use only.

For use as a daily moisturiser:

  • Adults, the elderly, and children: Apply to dry skin areas as often as required, ensuring that the area is well covered, and rub in gently.
  • To ensure continued hydration throughout the day, it is recommended you apply at least twice a day as a minimum, or as otherwise directed by your pharmacist or doctor.
  • Apply gently in the direction of hair growth until absorbed.
  • Avoid rubbing the cream vigorously as this could trigger itching, creating more heat in the skin.
  • Apply your emollient before and after you bathe to protect your skin from dryness.
  • In addition, you can use the ointment as a soap substitute as it will be kinder to the skin but just as effective at cleaning it.

For use as a daily cleanser:

  • Gently massage Cetraben cream into wet skin and rinse off under warm running water. Pat skin dry with a soft towel.
  • For best results re-apply Cetraben cream as a daily moisturiser.

If you accidentally swallow this product, go to your nearest accident and emergency department.
