Product Summary

To relieve the symptoms of stomach pain and bloating due to the presence of trapped wind. The active ingredient is Simeticone, an anti-flatulence medicine, which works by gently dispersing the tiny bubbles of trapped wind without the risk of embarrassment.

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before using this product:

  • Adults and children aged 12 years and over: swallow 1 capsule with a drink of water 3 or 4 times daily after meals and at bedtime as needed.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 years
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: ask your doctor for advice before taking this product.


  • Active ingredients: Each capsule contains Simeticone 125mg (activated Dimeticone).
  • Other ingredients: Gelatin, Glycerol, Titanium dioxide (E171) and Purified Water.

Warnings and Restrictions

Do NOT take Wind-eze:

  • if you are allergic to Simeticone or any of the other ingredients (see further information)
  • if you use mineral oil (paraffin) based laxatives
  • if you are under 12 years.

Take special care with Wind-eze:

  • If symptoms persist for more than 14 days, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice must be sought.
  • This medicinal product contains glycerol which is harmful in high doses. It can cause headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea.

Other medicines and Wind-eze

If you are being treated with levothyroxine for a thyroid disorder, using Wind-eze might reduce the amount of this type of medicine that is absorbed and weaken the effect of your treatment.

Further information

If you take too many capsules or your symptoms persist or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist. Like all medicines, Wind-eze can have side effects, but not everybody gets them. You may experience allergic reactions such as skin rash, itchy skin, swelling of the face or tongue or difficulty breathing or stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea or constipation.

  • Do not store above 25°C.
  • Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
