Product Summary

HealthAid Immuprotect is specially formulated, combining the most well-known nutrients for immune support. It contains the benefits of Maitake Mushroom together with Astragalus, Propolis, Vitamin C, Zinc, and Quercetin to help provide prolonged support during the winter months, when the immune system is not always at its best.

ImmuProtect® is a unique formulation with an exceptionally high strength Vitamin C combined with Quercetin, Rutin (Vitamin P), Astragalus, Propolis, Maitake Mushroom, and Zinc which contributes to the normal function of the immune system, nervous system, protection of cells from oxidative stress, normal cognitive function, and normal DNA synthesis.

ImmuProtect® is exceptionally high in Vitamin C which is very important because according to the research Vitamin C is beneficial in fighting infections only when used in doses higher than 500mg per day.

Pharmacist FAQs Answered

Is Immuprotect compatible with other vitamins or immune supplements?

Yes, Immuprotect can usually be taken alongside other vitamin or mineral supplements, but it should be avoided with excessive amounts of Vitamin C or Zinc as both of these are already included in this supplement at very high concentrations. Taking more than the recommended daily amount could lead to side effects like stomach upset or, in rare cases, more serious reactions. If you’re already taking a multivitamin, speak to your pharmacist to check whether you’re getting too much of any nutrient.

Is Immuprotect safe for teenagers or children under 12?

Immuprotect is strictly intended for use in adults and children 12 years of age and older. It contains high-strength active compounds such as Vitamin C, Zinc, and plant extracts that are possibly not ideal in large quantities for young children. If you must administer immune protection for a child younger than 12 years, you may consult your pharmacist about a safer, age-appropriate alternative with lower concentrations.

When should I take Immuprotect tablets?

It's better to take Immuprotect in the morning with food. Taking it with food will help your body absorb the nutrients more effectively and may reduce the risk of stomach discomfort, due to the high Vitamin C content. Since it increases energy and immunity, taking it early in the morning also synchronises your body's internal clock and daily nutritional needs.

Is Immuprotect used only for prevention, or for treating a cold or infection?

Immuprotect can be used during an active infection and as a daily preventative. While it's not a drug and won't "cure" a cold, its potent Vitamin C and herbal ingredients like Astragalus and Maitake Mushroom might help support your immune system reaction. If symptoms of illness last more than a few days or get worse, then it's a good idea to see a doctor because supplements aren't designed to replace proper medical care.

Are there any known side effects or drug interactions of Immuprotect?

Most people can handle Immuprotect well when taken as directed. However, because it is made up of natural extracts and high amounts of active nutrients, it may trigger stomach upset or allergic reactions in some individuals. Substances like propolis, quercetin, and white willow bark may also interact with medications like blood thinners or anti-inflammatory drugs. Always consult your pharmacist if you have prescription medication or allergies.

Is Immuprotect suitable for people with plant or bee allergies?

Immuprotect contains plant extracts, such as propolis (a bee product) and white willow bark. These are most likely to induce allergic reactions in people with allergies to pollen, tree bark, or bee products. If you know you are allergic to these, it's advisable not to use Immuprotect or ask your pharmacist for a safer alternative.

For how long should I use Immuprotect to benefit from it?

Most people take Immuprotect daily throughout the winter or when they're stressed, when the immune system is under increased work. You may find that you tend to feel better overall about how often you get something or how quickly you recover, but results will be inconsistent because it's a supplement, not a drug. It can be taken safely in the long term if you take it at the recommended dose and as part of an overall healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.
