As Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, JL oversees the development of Healthwords AI systems. In his previous role as the Head of Natural Language Systems for Healthwords, JL was responsible for the development of Healthwords Search, a search engine for smart self-care. Across platforms, JL implements systems-based solutions for managing Healthwords' extensive library of text content.

Prior to joining Healthwords, JL studied at the University of Mississippi, St. Catherine's College, Oxford, and The London School of Economics.
