Ernesto is a member of Healthwords advisory board as Head of Global Consumer Healthcare. He provides advice on all key decisions relating to Healthwords global consumer healthcare strategy and tactical marketing plans and on matters including mergers, acquisitions and licensing in consumer healthcare.
A former Vice President of Marketing for the Americas at Novartis Consumer Health, Ernesto is currently Senior Vice President and Global Head - Convenience at Suominen Corporation. At Novartis, he was responsible for a $900 million portfolio of OTC healthcare brands in North and Latin America and grew the business in the US from $250mm in 2012 to $560mm in 2014.
Previously, Ernesto spent 15 years at Procter & Gamble, leading a $2.5 billion portfolio of brands including oral (Crest, Oral-B), beauty (Pantene, Olay) and home care (Dawn, Cascade).
Ernesto holds a Bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
