Strepsils are a brand of lozenge available used to treat throat and mouth infections. It contains an antiseptic ingredient used to help fight infection. Strepsils are also available as Strepsils Extra triple action, which also contain a local anaesthetic and soothing formula to treat pain and a tickly cough. It can treat mouth and throat infections from six years onwards. One lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth at a time and repeated every 2-3 hours, with up to a maximum of 12 lozenges a day as needed. Stick to the lowest dose needed.
